Tara Mills joins the News Xchange line-up to interview the Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar. Tara co-presents BBC Northern Ireland’s flagship television news programme BBC Newsline.

Tara also presents BBC Radio Ulster’s drivetime news programme Evening Extra. She regularly presents BBC election coverage and has also presented Sunday Politics and Stormont Today for BBC NI. Tara joined the BBC just before the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in 1998. She notably reported live for BBC Newsline from the Shankill Road area and the Falls on the day the IRA decommissioned its weapons. The programme went on to win an Irish Film and Television award.
