Aine Lawlor one of Ireland's most highly respected broadcasters joins News Xchange to interview CNN’s leading political journalist, John King. Aine has worked for the national public service media organisation RTÉ for over 35 years. She is a presenter on Morning Ireland, the most listened to radio programme in the country. She has also worked on a number of other news and current affairs radio and television programmes, and as narrator for the highly-acclaimed series on clerical sexual abuse in Irish institutions, States of Fear. Since 2013 the award-winning broadcaster also presents a weekly political discussion programme, The Week in Politics on RTÉ One television. In November 2013, she presented a two-part documentary Facing Cancer which followed her as she re-traced the steps of her journey to overcome breast cancer.
